The producer has skin in the game cash invested with you , has presumably invested effort to develop the property, and wants to retain rights to it to justify those investments. I just wondered if in your experience you had any tips for a fairly green producer just starting out..? Elevator pitches can be helpful as you take them into your next networking event or interview.
A producer found one on InkTip and wants to option it and direct it soon. You had me at the first part of the concept, and lost me with all the unnecessary subplots and plot twists. As great as you and the producer might think your script is, the production environment is fickle. As long as you can balance action description that only tells us what we need to know with the dialogue, it will keep that speeding script on full throttle.
